Clear Toughened Glass

This is the most common option used – it is clear and has a high iron content which means it appears dark green or black from the side, depending on the area light and positioning.
Clear Toughened Glass, Sandblasted (Frosted)

- 10mm Clear Toughened Glass, Sandblasted (Frosted)

This gives a frosted look to the glass. Clear toughened glass is the most common type of shower glass to have the process applied. It is ideal for made to measure shower doors as it allows for privacy.
Optiwhite Low Iron Toughened Glass

- 10mm Optiwhite Low Iron Toughened Glass
- 12mm Optiwhite Low Iron Toughened Glass
This type of glass has a reduced iron content. This helps it to appear more ‘crystal like’. This means it can appear more turquoise in most instances.

This carries a tint itself, like the glass seen in the automotive industry. This plus the Optiwhite carry a higher price point than the standard clear toughened glass, but provide a distinctive look to the custom shower door.

01225667537We specialise in frameless glass shower doors, offering manufacture only and install options for customers if required. These can be a single shower door, or as part of a shower cubicle or enclosure configuration. Frameless shower doors can be a versatile option when the space is either limited or has other important considerations in order to function. Glass to wall, or glass to glass configurations are common, enabling any door to hinge from inline or corner panels to suit, if part of an enclosure or cubicle. As these glass doors are not framed, perimeter seals are used to ensure water is kept inside the tray, wet room area or designated shower location.
