I don’t want a toughening stamp on the face of the glass, what are my options?
All glass comes with a toughening stamp which can be placed on the edge of the glass, this can then be hidden within U Channel for example. If you want the toughening stamp to be placed on a specific edge, please let us know exactly where you need it placed. All glass is toughened to the British Standard EN 12150 as legally required.
Can I collect my components?
Yes, if you wish to collect your components you can do so from our main base in Chippenham.
Can I collect the glass?
Of course you can collect your glass, we have a warehouse based in Chippenham just off of junction 17 of the M4. The exact location and address is included in the 'ready for collection' email sent to you once the glass is in a ready for you.
Can you tell me exactly when my glass will arrive?
We are able to provide a date for you glass to arrive once it has been received by us from processing. Our transport team will then email with a proposed date for delivery, a time of arrival is only able to be identified by the driver on the day of delivery.
How is my glass delivered?
Your glass will be delivered by one of our own drivers or via a trusted third party courier. The glass is 'naked', this means there is no external packaging, this cuts down on cost and wastage. The vans are specially racked to carry glass, and when your glass arrives a signature will be required to ensure you are happy with the condition of the glass. It is important you take your time inspecting the glass, as once the glass is signed for we're unable to accept liability for any defects.
What are my payment options?
We're able to accept all major debit and credit cards. PayPal and BACS transfer are also available for our customers to pay.
Payment terms vary depending on the nature of the job, whether is supply only, or installation.
I need the glass really quickly, can you get it to me on a date I need?
Toughened glass has a production pipeline and can't be rushed, always allow a minimum of 10/14 working days for an order.
We will always do what we can for quicker turn around times, however we can't guarantee until the glass is with us and has been checked for quality.
Do you offer a measuring and fitting service?
Yes we offer both a measuring and fitting service, please get in contact with us to discuss your needs further.
I have bought some hinges elsewhere, can you cut the glass so they will work?
If you have already purchased your shower hardware elsewhere, providing you are able to submit to us the technical specifications needed to fabricate the glass, then we can ensure the glass will be processed accordingly.
Do you have stock sizes?
All our glass is made bespoke in the UK, we can cut the glass to any size you require. We don't carry stock, but if you have seen a common size, we can cut it for you.
Why should I not use 4mm or 6mm for my shower panel?
4mm and 6mm thicknesses are not suitable for larger bespoke shower screens and enclosures. The rigidity is less and the components available are typically for 8mm and above.
Can I have a tinted glass in 8mm, 10mm and 12mm?
The tinted glass options only come in 10mm thickness, the colours are blue, grey, bronze and green.
Can I have a curved edge added to my glass shower panel?
Yes, we are able to add a curved edge to the glass. The best thing is to identify the size and we can confirm a price. Due to the nature of the production technique, CNC is used and the cost can often add £120 to the price of the panel.
I’ve measured my glass incorrectly, can it be cut down/resized?
Once glass has been toughened it is not possible to resize in any way. It is very important to be sure of any measurements first time, take your time and use our handy guides. And we're always happy to talk through if needed.
Who delivers my glass?
Our glass is delivered and handled by our own experienced drivers to most locations. However we do on occasion use a trusted third party courier which specialises in the delivery of fragile goods. You will be notified of a date of intention for delivery, and on the day itself you will be kept up to date regarding the arrival time.
I’m not sure how to measure the glass, can you help?
We can advise on how to measure, we also offering a chargeable professional measuring service if you'd prefer. A selection of measuring templates for common shapes are available to download fro free from our website.
What happens if I find a scratch or mark on my glass after I have accepted it?
It is very important that all glass is checked by yourself thoroughly when the glass arrives, take as much time as you need.
We're unable to accept liability once we have a signature.
What thickness of glass do I need?
It depends on your budget and the mechanics of the shower enclosure, for example if you wish to have a large door hinging off of a fixed panel.
10mm thickness is the default glass we recommend using as a shower screen, however if unsure then get in touch.
What do I need to fix my glass panel in place?
The most common way to fix a panel in place is with the use of U Channel. Variants are available for 8mm, 10mm and 12mm.
The U Channel comes in a variety of finishes.
Clamps can also be used.
Can I have my components delivered separately to my glass?
Yes this is possible, and a very common request. There is a typical £10.20 inc VAT charge for delivery on order values under £40.
The benefit of having components dispatched ahead of the glass arriving is that you're able to get a head start on installing any U Channel.

All our glass is processed here in the UK by our trusted partners and suppliers. All glass is toughened to the British Standard EN 12150 as legally required. All glass comes with a toughening stamp which is either placed on the face or edge of the glass.
